1 Chronicles 16:34 tells us “Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever.”
Give thanks for His goodness, because His goodness and love is continually directed towards His believers. Therefore, we live in His love FOREVER. Definitely something to be thankful for.
Colossians 3:17 defines this idea further, “And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, Giving thanks to God the Father through Him.”
Then we expand the thanks internally and externally, so it is reflected in what we think and what we do. Forward this internal and external thankfulness into actions—and people see the tangible sharing of our thanks in His name. Which in turn, extends our thanks through Him to God Almighty.
