Ever heard of it? I hadn’t until recently, when a client shared a heartbreaking story about her best friend. The friend is 70 years old and was “as healthy as can be, thin, active, eats well, lots of exercise, volunteers, busy life”.
According to the physicians treating her friend, mesothelioma is a very rare cancer of the lung and heart lining caused only by asbestos. They claim she was exposed at some point. When I asked further, my client said the doctors were adamant that a one-time exposure was enough to kill her. Yet her friend claimed she was never exposed to asbestos.
So I asked, and yes, the friend is v@xxin@ted and bøø$†ed. The mesothelioma diagnoses came two weeks after her third $hø†. The worst of it is, her doctors said mesothelioma is incurable. They’ve offered an elective ‘life extension’ surgery to remove her lung and heart linings—8 to 12 hours in the surgical suite with a 3% survival rate. She accepted, and passed two months after fully recovering from the surgery.
Turns out this rare disease is also caused from monkey liver cells—which are included in the ingredient list of a certain modern-day ph@rm@ceutic@l.
My heart aches hearing about this type of needless suffering, brought on by a world in chaos.
I cry out to the Lord and He reminds me…humanity will suffer and strugle against the powers that be, that age-old devil, the serpent, and his minions. Furthermore, we are to look to the Lord Jesus Christ as our faithful redeemer, Who wraps us in His arms and loves us through these difficult times. He is always there, waiting to comfort us through the stroms of life.
Oh Holy and Righteous God, thank You for Your great and timely promise that You are always with us. Cover us with Your wings, draw us into Your strong tower, that we may be with You always. Amen.
