Do you love the Lord your God will all your heart and all your soul, and all your mind?
Do you serve Him?
Do you praise and worship Him, study His Word every day?
Do you deny the world’s treachery, lies, and idols, living instead inside the spiritual realms of heaven (later to be physically in residence)?
There is a present day prevailing falseness of claiming to be a ‘Christian’, but refusing everything about Him. Here is the Lord Jesus Christ’s warning regarding this falseness:
Matthew 7:21-23 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord’ will enter into the kingdom of heaven—only the one who does the will of My Father in heaven. On that day, many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, didn’t we prophesy in Your name and in Your name cast out demons and do many powerful deeds?’ Then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you. Go away from me.’” (Please read the post Believer and Christian for the difference between the two)
On that great judgement day He will separate those who claim to be ‘Christians’, from His true believers.
Matthew 25:31-34, and 41: “When the Son of Man comes in His glory and all the angels with him, then He will sit on His throne. All the nations will be assembled before Him, and He will separate people one from another like a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He will put the sheep on His right and the goats on His left. Then the King will say to those on His right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by by Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world…Then He will say to those on His left, ‘Depart from Me, you accursed, into the eternal fire that has been prepared for the devil and his angels!’”
Choosing Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior is to follow and obey Him.
Following is indicated by action.
Actions are clear proof of what’s in the heart. There is no in between.
Reap the benefits of being a true believer, living joyfully inside His will for your life.
