BATTLE OF ARMAGEDDON

The Nephilim’s role in the battle of Armageddon.

In Chuck Missler’s book “Return of the Nephilim”, he reflects upon Revelation 19:11 and the Nephilim’s role in the battle of Armageddon. He cites:

“Now the most absurd war is coming. I always fasten it to Psalm 2 which is a dialog among the Trinity, “Why do the heathen rage and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves and the rulers take counsel together against the Lord and against His anointed, saying let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us…” and it goes on. This whole idea that the world is going to take up arms against God Himself astonishes me! I can understand people not believing in God, or rejecting God—yes—but I can’t imagine going after Him in warfare! Right? It just doesn’t make sense. Why would the world do that? Well, I think the Nephilim thing explains it.”

Psalm 2 continues: “He who sits in the heavens laughs, the Lord scoffs at them. Then He will speak to them in His anger and terrify them…” (v5)

How will Jesus terrify them?

He physically presents Himself to earth upon His Second Coming riding a white horse, and the multitudes gathered to do battle against Him instantly realize their error, because “He is clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God.” (v13). “From His mouth comes a sharp sword, so that with it He may strike down the nations…” (v15)

The Lord Jesus Christ single-handedly destroys the multitudes assembled against Him with words! Not with bombs, fighter jets, bullets, tanks, or archaic weapons. Their refusal of Him ends in terrifying death!

These people chose Satan and along with his Nephilim, assemble on the plains east and south of Jerusalem, and think they’re going to win a war against God. Instead, their creator, and Satan’s creator, speaks their death, and down they go at the sound of His voice. That is the fearsome power of God. That is the fearsome vengeance of the Lord Almighty.

Exactly how many people are we talking about at the battle of Armageddon? Well, v19 provides a bit of background. It says, “And I saw the beast (the world leader at that time—usually called antichrist) and the kings of the earth and their armies assembled to make war against Him who sat on the horse. And the beast was seized, and with him the false prophet (the world religious leader at that time) who performed the signs in his (antichrist’s) presence, by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image; these two were thrown alive into the lake of fire which burns with brimstone. And the rest were killed with the sword which came from the mouth of Him who sat on the horse…”

But Revelation 14:20 provides the grisly answer about the carnage of the multitudes. “And the wine press was trodden outside the city, and blood came out from the wine press, up to the horses’ bridles, for a distance of two hundred miles.”

Up to a horse’s bridle equals 4 to 5 feet deep. That’s a lot of people choosing to do battle with God.

Why mention any of this? Because now is the time to serve Him and help the lost choose Him before all of this occurs. Now is the time to help people understand that the Lord Jesus Christ died for them so they could be saved from all of Satan’s upcoming deceptions.

As events unfold faster and faster, God warns in the Bible that He will give the people who choose Satan exactly what they seek. God will blind them to His truth (Zephaniah 1:17, Isaiah 44:18, Romans 11:8). They won’t recognize Satan’s deceptions for what they are—lies against God. But remember these people had a CHOICE! They could have used their God-given mental capabilities to logically think through what is happening right now. Instead, we see emotion—pride, ego, power, control, fear—escalating.

Think back for a moment. Is there any evidence that this war against God has been raging for decades?

How about the removal of prayer in schools? Or students no longer reciting the Pledge of Allegiance—One Nation Under God?

Abortion? Slavery? Our broken justice system? The list is extraordinarily long.

But as His prayerful servants, there is a chance right now to help the lost choose correctly. Allowing God to work through us, we have the opportunity to show the Way, the Truth, and the Light—to the unsaved (John 12:40).

In conclusion, no one knows God’s timing of the Rapture (departure, harpazo, disappearance, vanishing), not even the Lord Jesus Christ. God has hidden the timing of this event to bring as many people to Him as possible—before that ‘twinkling of an eye’ arrives. Once the Rapture occurs, and God removes Himself from earth, and people take Satan’s mark (666), they cannot turn back. Satan is deceiving people to do his bidding—to fight a war against God that they cannot win.

Armageddon will be the physical manifestation of this war against God. And those who reject will be destroyed by His Words.

Learn the Will of God in your life so you may serve Him by helping others. We cannot force anyone to take the Lord Jesus Christ (John 3:16) into their hearts, but we might be the person that causes someone to start thinking about believing in Him.

Help the lost by serving Him, so they can be sealed (protected) against a world who’s deed of ownership was turned over to Satan when Adam sinned. A world that right now is fully controlled by the devil and his legions, because God help the earth dwellers after the Nephilim arrive.

Amen.
