…when the greatest Soldier, Warrior, and King will release the earth from its bonds of decay and darkness, war and pestilence, persecution, destruction and genocide. The battle against evil will end—defeated forever. Gone will be the God-curse placed on the planet because of Adam’s disobedience. Thorns, briars, weeds, biting and stinging things, disease, poison, injury, virus, illness, aches and pain, sadness and guilt, anger and anxiety, pride and shame gone in an instant. Evil, sin, and death will be cast down—locked in the lake of fire for all eternity—never to reign again. (Romans 8:21)
The King will rejuvenate the world as in the time of Eden. Earth will flow forth with goodness, beauty, and majesty. Then we will honor Him for 1000 years and beyond. And the last step will be taken. For Satan will be released from the pit one last time, and only briefly. Gone will be those who are born in the Millennial Kingdom who choose against the Lord. He will smite the dragon and every one of those children, and they will be locked away for all eternity. (Revelation 22:11)
Then!
Then this world will be burned and the New Heaven and the New Earth will burst forth the New Jerusalem. And perfection will reign forever and ever in the 1500 mile square x 1500 mile high City of God. (2 Peter 3:7 and 10)
That will be a Memorial Day celebration like no other, and it will be revered for all eternity. (John 8:36, Romans 6:22)
