Before we proceed, though, we need to understand the depth of God’s faithfulness toward His beloved…
…because God is faithful beyond human comprehension.
Lamentations 3:22-23 Because of the Lord’s gracious love we are not consumed, since His compassions never end. They are new every morning—great is your faithfulness!
Romans 3:3-4 What if some of the Jews were unfaithful? Their unfaithfulness cannot cancel God’s faithfulness!
2 Timothy 2:11-13 This saying is trustworthy: In dying with the Messiah, true life we gain. Enduring, we with Him, will reign. Who Him denies, He will disclaim. Our faith may fail, His never wanes. That is who He is, He cannot change!
Psalm 36:5 Your gracious love, Lord, reaches to the heavens; Your truth extends to the skies.
After salvation, believers are washed in forgiveness. But after salvation and because we are sin-natured, God is faithful to forgive earnest repentance—but we must ask! Therefore, etch 1 John 1:9 on your eyeballs—If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
No one, NOT ONE is righteous. Romans 3:9-12
Yet, God makes the faithful righteous! Philippians 3:9
If we ask Him, He PROMISES to cleanse us and He will do this for us repeatedly. Every evening pray 1 John 1:9 over your day, then seek to recognize habitual sin and ask Him to remove it. Lay that burden at His feet and watch Him move in your life.
Because no one, NOT ONE is righteous, except through Him.
