PRAY ON GOD’S PROMISES

Pray for God’s truth, wisdom, knowledge, and discernment so you will not be caught unawares—no surprises. Not even the twinkling-of-an-eye-Rapture will be surprising to believers.

James 1:5 If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.

But, God is not a genie in a magic lamp! ‘Christians’ can’t expect Him to acknowledge prayers if they are prayed from a worldly heart. Conditions apply. (Please read the post Believer and Christian for the difference between the two)

Hosea 14:9 Who is wise? Let them realize these things. Who is discerning? Let them understand. The ways of the Lord are right; the righteous walk in them, but the rebellious stumble in them.

1 Corinthians 2:14 the person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit.

Christ died for us. Our acceptance, our born-again status is unconditional. But those who remain in the world cannot expect Him to grant their every wish. The born-again sojourners, who are exiled from this world—who know their home is heaven—who serve Him and obey Him…their prayers will be answered.

He says so! 👇🏼

Proverbs 2:6 for the Lord gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding.

Ephesians 1:17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of Him.

Ecclesiastes 2:26 for to a person who is good in His sight He has given wisdom and knowledge and joy…

Exodus 35:31 and He has filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding and in knowledge…

The believing obedient who pray His promises will be given His truth, wisdom, knowledge, and discernment that is not of this world. Their promises will be other-worldly, heaven sent from our future home. His truth, wisdom, knowledge, and discernment given to these believers is an advance warning—allowing them plenty of time to prepare for anything.

1 Kings 3:9 so give your servant a discerning heart…to distinguish between right and wrong…

When His faithful beloved pray there are no surprises.

Isaiah 33:6 and He will be the stability of your times, a wealth of salvation, wisdom and knowledge…

Daniel 2:23 To You, O God of my fathers, I give thanks and praise, for You have given me wisdom and power; even now You have made known to me what we requested of You…

1 Corinthians 2:13 which things we also speak, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit, combining spiritual thoughts with spiritual words…

When believers receive the information, no matter how far fetched it might be, their next responsibility is to prepare—not only for themselves, but in servanthood to prepare for others, as well.

It comes down to servanthood out of obedience. The more a believer serves through obedience, the more will be given to him, both here and in the Millennial Kingdom.

AMEN!
